Private Calligraphy Lessons

Do you enjoy writing? Interested in learning a new hobby in 2017? Ever had the desire to learn calligraphy, but you’re not really into group classes because you would prefer one-on-one instruction time?

If you answered ‘yes’ to either of the questions above, then a private one-on-one session would be perfect for you! I offer both an individual 2 ½ hour session and a package of three 2 ½ hour sessions which are both great for beginners who desire to learn the basics and fundamentals of copperplate calligraphy.

Location: Home studio in Duluth, GA

Please note that all sales are final and non-refundable. Price listed is per person.

Choose either:

• 1 session of 2 ½ hours OR 
• 3 sessions of 2 ½ hours each (a total of 7 ½ hours of one-on-one instruction).

Each Package Includes:

• 1 oblique pen holder
• 4 nibs
• Ink
• Practice pad paper
• Guidesheets
• Pencil
• Resource guide

My handwriting is bad, do I have to have “good” handwriting to learn calligraphy?

The short answer is no. Honestly, I don’t have the best handwriting either. But now, as a self-taught calligrapher, I have learned that stellar handwriting is not a requirement 😉

What if I register and can no longer attend the scheduled private session?

As noted, all sales are final and non-refundable. Please let me know right away if you are unable to attend our scheduled session. I will work with you to reschedule for a later date. Your session may be transferred to someone else, as long as Captivating Calligraphy is notified (via email) at least 3 days prior to the scheduled session.

What should I bring?

Everything that you need for the workshop will be provided to you. I only ask that you bring a teachable spirit and a ready to learn attitude!
