Where It All Began
My love for “pretty handwriting and letters” started as a child and quietly followed me into adulthood. In 2014, I decided to finally explore this long-standing fascination. While brainstorming hobbies, I mentioned calligraphy to a close friend, who enthusiastically encouraged me to give it a try. That nudge was all I needed.
Armed with curiosity, I dove into research, gathered the right tools, and started practicing every day. Slowly but surely, my confidence grew, and I began sharing my progress on social media. What started as a personal hobby quickly blossomed into something more as friends and acquaintances began requesting calligraphy work. One project led to another, referrals poured in, and soon I realized this was more than a pastime—it was my passion.
Why I Love What I Do
There’s a unique joy in transforming words into art. Through Captivating Calligraphy, I’ve found not only creative fulfillment but also the privilege of connecting with clients on a personal level. I’m honored to be a member of the Atlanta Calligraphy Guild (FOTA) and the International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting, which helps me continue honing my craft.
While I love the quiet hours spent perfecting each stroke, my favorite part of this journey is the people I get to meet along the way. Learning about your story and being entrusted to create something meaningful for you is what makes my work so rewarding.

In addition to bespoke commissions, I specialize in live calligraphy and engraving for luxury brand activations and corporate events. Imagine your guests witnessing the artistry of personalized calligraphy or custom engraving in real-time—a captivating experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Beyond the Pen
When I’m not immersed in the art of calligraphy, you’ll often find me spending quality time with my husband and our two young daughters. My husband and I are also heavily involved in our church community, where we serve together as Directors of the Creative Arts & Media Team.
Through my work and the connections I make with my clients, I hope to inspire others to chase their dreams and embrace their passions. I truly believe that everyone deserves the chance to pursue what sets their soul on fire.
